ICN Weekend School “Al Noor” offers Quran , Seerah, Arabic learning, and Islamic Education to students. In its first stage Al Noor offers limited classes to children ages 5-15, every Sunday from 10:00 AM- 1:00 PM. Students are placed in classes suited to their age and education level. Classed are limited to a 15 student maximum, and all classes have one teacher and one teaching assistant. Our curriculum is based on the Weekend Learning Publishers Books which includes basic Arabic language words and phrases, Islamic morals and history, Quranic studies and the Seerah
Goals and Objectives
We aim to Teach Islam’s basic tenants, Arabic language reading, knowledge of Islam and Quran.
we have developed this program to teach students Islamic manners and Morals and their necessity in our daily lives, help young American Muslims develop a strong identity in Islam, and assist them in becoming leaders who will work together for the benefit of the community and to please Allah ﷺ. We hope to instill a sense of responsibility to society and the environment while providing an opportunity within this learning environment for parents and children to develop a sense of brotherhood/sisterhood and belonging within the community.

Islamic Studies
Islamic Sunday schools typically offer classes that teach Islamic principles, beliefs, and practices. Students learn about the Quran, the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), Islamic history, and ethics. They may also study topics such as the pillars of Islam, Islamic jurisprudence, and the importance of character development.
Salah (Prayer)
Students are taught the proper method of performing the five daily prayers (salah) and encouraged to practice them regularly. They learn about the significance and importance of prayer in Islam.
Islamic History and Biographies
Islamic Sunday schools typically cover significant events and figures from Islamic history. Students learn about the lives of Islamic scholars, companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and influential Muslim leaders throughout history.
Salah (Prayer)
Students are taught the proper method of performing the five daily prayers (salah) and encouraged to practice them regularly. They learn about the significance and importance of prayer in Islam.
Moral and Character Development Character-building is an essential aspect of Islamic education. Sunday schools often emphasize the development of moral values and ethics, teaching students about honesty, kindness, compassion, respect, and integrity.
Community and Social Engagement
Islamic Sunday schools provide a platform for students to engage with their peers, fostering a sense of community and belonging. Schools may organize events, workshops, and social activities that encourage teamwork, collaboration, and community service.

Teachers carefully supervise students to ensure their safety and healthy snacks are provided during breaks.
